Oh goodness, I was sewing like a crazy person yesterday. I stopped only to watch the lovliness that is Pushing Daisies and also when I ran out of polyfil.
I have had a lovely holiday, I hope everyone else did as well. It was nice to spend some time with friends in the city, eating food and playing games. I had a lovely time.
Ryan got a book on tape from me for Christmas, as a trial run because he has a hard time reading and a lot of times I have had to read things to him and so I thought a book on tape might be a good answer for him. It turns out that it is good for me too when I am sewing! My mind has a tendency to wonder when I am doing things even driving but it turns out if I have most of my focus doing one thing that I can listen pretty well! I was excited. This will be good for when I move back and have my own place. I can have these fun little marathons more often!
I really was having a hard time getting back into sewing after the big holiday rush, but I think I got my groove back and it rules.
On the agenda today includes a trip to get some polyfil, some more sewing and some being lazy cause my week off is nearing a close. That does mean I am nearing the end of my time in California which is both a scary and exciting thing. I have lots to do before I leave.
