4 more wake ups!

I had a pretty productive weekend. A lot of organizing and a haircut. That is always a fun time. I will say that I found *nothing* to buy on Haight st. I am starting to think that it is just me and my style. I'm not cool anymore. Well I never really was. I am thinking about whipping up a shirt for myself but I will see what this week looks like for me. I am trying to get some sewing done. I did get a few things done.

So I'm starting to get ready for my trip. And I am really getting excited too :D

Since I am old I bought a c.d. player for the plane ride. Hahahaha. It was only $10 and I 1. can't afford an ipod right now and 2. don't have my own computer and Ryan's is screwed up so we can't upload songs to it. so there you have it. This child of the 80's/90's will be flying in style. Hopefully the turbulence won't make the c.d. skip. And I will say that I actually had a thought about buying a cassette tape player just for fun but it was $30 and I don't have any tapes. :D

I also splurged and bought the book "The Golden Compass" The movie preview intrigued me and I always like to read the book if a movie was a book first. I am *super* excited to read it and even made myself a bookmark for it. I didn't know it was the first story in a trilogy. I wonder if they will go to far in the movie and incorporate the other books. I almost bought the trilogy cause it was available in one big book, but it looked to heavy. I love to read. If I was ever on a desert island, I would only need some really good books, some hairspray and a good comb(see yesterday's post :D)
